Tadepalli: The government of Andhra Pradesh announced that the schools will remain in half-day manner from April 1 for classes 1 to 10. The decision was made in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and scorching summer sun.
The government announced that the classes will have to attend schools only in the forenoon from 1st of April, Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said here on Monday.
He further said that the classes would be held from 7:45 am to 12:30 am, and mid-day meals would be served as usual after which the students are allowed to leave for their homes. The effect was made because of the surge in cases of Covid-19 and also due to summers in the State.
